Durin IV (Northern for King), Dwarf King and leader of the Dwarvish contingent of the Last Great Alliance during the siege of Barad-dûr in the year 3440 of the Second Age. He wielded the axe Mírdanant, forged for his ancestor, Durin III, by the Gwaith-i-Mírdain.
